Our shop vans enjoy the benefit of ceramic tint on front glass.
Full 30% Cir Sun Tek.
Factory settings as manufactured.
Absolutley, most modern vehicles are void of any shading on the top 4 to 7 inches of the windshield. This can make driving West bound into the Arizona sun almost unsafe. We offer 5%, 18% and 35% Sun Tek Charcol tint. This is the exact same brand our local BMW dealer installs on every new vehicle.
Yes, we can source and install the BMW original glass with BMW roundel. However, please be 100% certain that you have purchased an insurance policy with the OEM endorsement or ask for verification that your carrier will approve this request due to the age of your vehicle or special features unavailable in the aftermarket industry.
Yes, we do have a warranty and can resolve any issues or questions that arise. However, we are not an insurance company, rather a service provider. Glass breaks, glass gets hit with rocks again and again. If you feel that your glass is defective and the damage is what we call a "stress break", please contact us for resolve.
Yes, please send us your full VIN number. The parts department or online app will decode your options with an itemized report. We can cross reference this information to identify the correct windshield as supplied on your build. This process can be challenging as some vehicles have a dozen different part numbers to choose from. We need your VIN number please!
Yes, for 35 years we have provided mobile services to our Arizona customers. Typical service time is about two hours from start to driving your vehicle. Some Static Re-Calibrations of ADAS features may dictate "in-shop" service due to conditional requirements of targets.
Yes. We specialize in the BMW brand but offer services for other high line sport and luxury vehicles. However, we do not work on motor homes, construction equipment, semi trucks, flat glass or commercial fleet accounts. The cliche below is applicable to the entire Autoglass Industry: Jack-of-all-trades, master of none: a person who can do many things but is not an expert in any of them.
Windshield cracks can be either impact related or stress induced.
Most broken glass is due an area of impact, sometimes very small, sometimes on the outer perimeter edge, sometimes barely noticeable. If you run a ink pen along the crack and the tip falls into a pit, this is the area of impact. Stress induced cracks rarely happen and there is no area of impact . This is a cut and dried, black or white, Yes or No result. Our warranty is defined as such.
Windshield options are engineered and specified during the build of your vehicle. Some upgrades such as additional sun shading and reflective coatings can be added to your new windshield, possible at additional cost. Complex features such as HUD, Lane Departure, Rain Sensing Wipers and other features cannot be retrofitted into your vehicle system. However, there are some interesting aftermarket safety features new on the market. We do not support these changes or offer the upgrades.
Not a problem, most new windshield installatons come with new upper and/or side moldings as part of your new windshield replacement and included in the job costing. However, the lower cowling (BMW calls this "cover") is not considered part of the job per most insurance companies. They define this as a "failed part" on behalf of the manufacturer. This is generally an out of pocket expense for the vehicle owner. Please inquire if this is a concern, prior to work being started. Lower covers are typically Special Order parts.
The quote from the National glass shop was half our estimate, for an aftermarket windshield without the BMW logo and NO ADAS re-calibration.
Under our lifetime warranty, automotive glass is warranted against defects in material or workmanship for as long as you own the vehicle in which the glass is installed so long as such defects are brought to the attention of Autoglass Services LLC within 30 days of your discovery.
The repair process involves the injection of special adhesives into the damaged part of the glass. The degree of success of each repair depends on several variables. The best results are obtained when the damage is recent, the point of impact small, the cracks around the damaged area are small, and there is not moisture or other foreign matter in the damaged area.
In some cases, the attempt to repair a windshield can result in the chip or crack becoming larger, and we are not responsible for such damage.
Our windshield warranty works as such: if you are dissatisfied with the repair, we will credit the cost of repair toward replacement. We guarantee that the repaired portion of the windshield will not crack further and that the repair will pass any state vehicle inspection, or we will credit the cost of repair toward replacement.
This windshield warranty applies as long as you own or lease the vehicle on which the repair was made and is not transferable.
This warranty does not cover leaks, stress cracks, or related damage in connection with installations to vehicles having damage or rust on the pinch weld. We wil make a reasonable effort to advise you of the existence of such damage or rust prior to removal of existing glass; however, it is often not possible to do this. In these cases, we cannot be responsible for any associated damage. In addition, damage not involving defective workmanship or materials is expressly excluded from coverage under this warranty. In no event shall the manufacturer or vendor be liable for incidental or consequential damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. Our glass warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.
